5 Blogging Productivity Tips

On January 18, 2011, in Blogging, by Sonny Lanorias

First of all, happy new year to everyone! In this article I am going to share with you 5 blogging productivity tips. As you know blogging can take time but when done correctly, blogging is still the safest most dependable way to capture leads, sales and sign ups for your network marketing business.

In blogging, it is important to plan or schedule ahead of time. You must set goals and tasks for the month, the week and the day.

So here are 5 blogging productivity tips that you can refer so you can use your time efficiently when blogging: blogging

1. Start writing and share your knowledge freely to others and never plagiarize. If you don’t have something to share, then use other people’s socially proven content and link back to the original article.

2. Set up your blog post to automatically syndicate to sites like NetworkedBlogs so you get more leverage. This way you don’t have to post manually to sites like networkedblogs to share what’s on your mind.

3. Syndicate your latest articles or blog posts to websites such as the Unified Tribe or TSA. This way you don’t have to manually post your latest articles or blog posts to facebook and twitter. Instead you get more leverage because other people on those sites called tribe members are already willing to share and syndicate your content to their own social media following.

4. When creating a content, turn off your cellphone, IM’s, facebook, etc until you get the job done. Focus on your task because creating a content is a money making activity. You should craft your article carefully. Turning on your cellphone, IM’s, facebook, etc., is being inefficient and can lessen your IQ. So focus!

5. Read other people’s content, comment and share their articles to your own social media followings. By doing this, you are getting more ideas on what to write next on your blog and it can even make you a better blogger.

So there you have it. I hope that you have learned something out of this article about 5 blogging productivity tips.

    Hi Sonny,

    Great tips overall.

#4 and #5 really resonate with me. I do all of my creating offline. Everything – including my cell phone – is turned off so I can work in quiet. Distractions are effectiveness killers and silence is an effectiveness booster.

As for #5 I admit, I am a blog lizard 😉 I hang out at blogs, read the posts and do my best to add value in the comments field. I’ve generated more blog post and business ideas by simply reading blogs and taking the time to build mindful comments.

So many wonderful relationships develop this way too. I’ve been featured in free reports, have numerous guest posts under my belt and have been invited to a number of JVs and the genesis of these powerful opportunities is simple yet mindful commenting.

Thanks for sharing your insight Sonny 🙂

  10. Hi Ryan,

Thanks for your comments and thanks for the compliment. Great to hear that you can relate to #4 and #5… Distractions can really hurt your business and are silent killers! Thanks again Ryan and come back soon.

    Hey Sonny,

Some very practical advise for blogging….
I especially like the turning off distractions because your content is king and if you don’t give it the time it deserves you can deprive it of its greatness..

  13. Hi Billee,

Thanks for stopping by. Yeah you have to turn off those distractions so you can focus on your content. Come back soon.

  14. Dr. Bob Clarke says:

Great post, Sonny. I especially agree with #4, ridding yourself of all distractions when writing. One other thing that helps me — when I write I never edit. I find it slows me down too much.

When I’ve completed a post, I put it away for a while, come back later and read it again, this time editing it and fixing any errors. This strategy works for me.

Happy New Year to you as well!

    • Hi Bob,

Thank you for your comments. Yes we have something in common in terms of writing. I just let it flow from my thoughts, save it as a draft and go over to it again this time making some minor changes, etc…. Thanks again and come back soon.
