Although it is easy to become one, yet 95% of network marketers out there are not doing it right. So the question is how do you become one? Before we go to the meat stuff, it is better to understand and to know if we are actually doing it right or not. Here are 3 questions that you can answer. And you judge yourself based on your answers:
1. Do you know what you are marketing?
2. Do you know who you are marketing to?
3. Do you know how to market?
If you can answer those 3 questions, then I guess by now you should know if you are a professional network marketer or not.

Let us first identify what are you really marketing. Most network marketers answer this question easily yet there answer is 100% wrong that’s why they still haven’t earned that first $100 a week yet in their network marketing business.
So to answer this question, what you’re really marketing is YOU. Yes you! It has nothing to do with your company, your products, your hybrid never seen compensation plan and opportunity. This business is all about YOU. People join people they know, like and trust. Always remember that. People are looking for a leader or a system that can help them get closer and reach their financial and lifestyle goals.
Now that you know what you should market, the next question is, how do you do this? It’s not that hard if you are a true entrepreneur. This next secret is what separates the entrepreneur from the wanna be’s. This secret is not actually a secret. But most people believe it’s a secret because most people who apply this are making 6-7 figures a year. The secret is to take action! That’s it. If you don’t take action, you won’t go anywhere else and my advise is to go look for a job because network marketing is all about learning, taking action and connecting. You take action by educating yourself so you increase your value to your niche. It doesn’t have to be complicated. If you can teach how to generate leads and how to make money fast to your market, then that’s it. It’s a process and if you want to increase your value in the marketplace then better start educating yourself now on the strategies and trainings I am going to share with you later at the end of this post.
So now that we know what is it that we are really marketing, lets get to the next question on “who” to market? If you are tired of chasing your friends and family and still haven’t signed up a single soul into your network marketing business, then that’s because they are not your target market. You are in fact targeting the wrong people! So who do you want to target? People who are already in the network marketing industry but are still struggling to build their business and those people who are looking for information to getting started in this industry. These 2 markets don’t need any convincing because they already know that network marketing is right for them. They already know the benefits of network marketing. Well let’s put it this way, if you were a basketball coach and you need one more player to complete your team’s line-up, guess what, I’m sure you won’t be pulling out anyone walking down the street to become one of your players. You will be looking for a person who already knows how to play basketball, right? Well that’s obvious. But it’s sad to say that 95% of network marketers still don’t get it. Well you’re in luck that now you already know who to target.
Here’s the last thing and the most important thing. Now that you know what really are you marketing and who to market your business, it’s now time to learn how to market your business. Here is again 95% of network marketers don’t do it right. That’s why most people see most network marketers as either nuisance or cheesy salesman because most network marketers keep on pitching their deals down the throat to the wrong people. The internet is a goldmine! Leveraging the power of the internet is the most powerful skill you can ever acquire in your business. There are two ways wherein you can cash in and build a successful network marketing business. It’s either you use the free or paid methods. When you’re building on a budget, free methods are the way to go such as social media marketing, blogging, forum, articles, etc. If money is not an issue to you, then go for the paid advertising methods such as ppc, ezines, press release, etc.
So there you have it. Becoming a professional network marketer is not that hard if you just know what, who and how to market your business. By becoming a professional network marketer, people now see you as a trusted leader, a trusted advisor and a true leader that they are looking for.
