Yes you read it right. In this post, I am going to teach you how to build your list without generating leads from your opt in page. And this is what we call blog subscribers.
There are 2 things you need on right now and these are:
1. Feed Address
2. WP Plug In which is called “Subscribe Here Widget”
So first things first. You need to log in to your wordpress and install the plug in called, “subscribe here widget by Adrian Ianculescu”. And activate that plug in. 
Second, go to your Appearance tab then widget section. Check for the Subscribe here widget and drag it to your sidebar. Now that you have that widget on your sidebar, the third thing you need to do now is to go to feedburner and set your feed on the box provided and just follow their instructions.
Once you have your feed set up, go to edit feed details and look for the feed address that’s on the “box” which says your feedburner feed. That’s the one you want to copy and paste it to your “feedburner feed id” at your subscribe here widget on your sidebar. Hit save and the widget will now appear on your blog.
And last but not the least, go back to your feed at feedburner and click the “publicize” tab. Check for “email subscriptions”, activate it and then hit save.
By doing this, your prospects can receive updates on your latest post without opting in to your lead capture page. Also this way you can continue to provide value to them without bombarding them with your autoresponder emails. Thus this enables them to receive more value from you which creates trust and eventually sees you as a trusted advisor and not just someone who is trying to sell stuffs.
