1. Build Your List – yes we all know that the 1st secret to online success is building your own list. But what most network marketers do is that they try to learn everything all at once. What I mean by this is that 95% of network marketers try to learn every marketing strategy that they come across from ppc, ezines, articles, blogging, facebook, twitter, video, forum, banner ads, etc…. Can you eat an elephant all at once? Of course not! So take it bit by bit. Focus on 1-2 marketing strategy that you like most and master it, become a monster on it and you will indeed see results on it, believe me.
2. Build A Relationship With Your List – again, yes we all know that the 2nd secret ingredient to online success is to build a relationship with your list. But hey….. your list are people that are looking for a leader who can guide them to reach closer to their goals. Your list are not just email address and a list of names. These are real people on the other side of your computer who are looking for sincere leaders to guide them so that they can solve their problems (i.e. financial problem). So what you should do is to “connect” with your leads. Call or email them and let them know that you are here to guide them. Ask them questions like what are they trying to accomplish…. And then provide solutions to their problems. Connecting is the key to building relationships. Always remember that because after all, this all goes back to building relationships.
3. Monetize Your List – 95% of network marketers believe that by being a member or a distributor of a great network marketing company or signed up first on a pre-launch network marketing company can make them money fast. And the first thing that you’ll notice is that they begin to post their opportunities on everyone’s facebook wall and/or other facebook groups or forums. But I am sorry to tell you that this is not the way to do it. Remember that people buy/join to people they know, like and trust. Read that again, mark that in your head and save it in your memory. In order for people to buy from you or join in your network marketing opportunity, you must gain their trust first. You do that by providing value and building relationships. Once you have established a relationship with your prospect and they already trust you, selling them stuff is not that hard anymore.
To sum it up, focus on 1-2 marketing strategy that you like best and master it. Connect to your leads by giving them a call or by sending them an email letting them know that you are here to guide them and help them reach closer to their goals and last but not the least, don’t ever try to sell stuffs if you haven’t yet built a relationship with your prospects.
