Network marketing, multilevel marketing (MLM) or however you call it, is a hot topic in business today. Why you ask? This is mainly because of the fact that for the longest time, people have been earning very lucrative incomes from this particular career choice.
For those who are not that familiar with it, MLM or Network Marketing basically works in a classic pyramid outline. Here you will be required to recruit distributors for your downline and at the same time encouraging your downline or the people under your network to enlist more people as they go along. This type of marketing is used for selling products at a faster pace than the conventional model of direct sales. A commission is made every time you or your downline and their respective downline make a sale. This method of employment sounds like the perfect profession, but it takes a special person to make it successful.
But here is something to burst the bubble. Network marketing is not as easy as it sounds. Believe it or not, quantities of people fail following this path. But hey, just because a few individuals did not succeed, that doesn’t mean that you have to follow their footsteps.
So if try your hand in multilevel marketing, here are some of the things that you shouldn’t do.
1.Do not stop building your own network and expect your downline to work for you. This is because there is no guarantee that any network connection made will continue being “in” the network especially if the flow of money is a little slow on their end.
2. Avoid recruiting the wrong kind of people. Here, “wrong kind” of people refers to those individuals who are easily distracted and those who do not embody the principles of your company. Recruiting them will not help at all. Sooner or later they will only be liabilities to your organization. Take the time to interview the potential distributors before engaging them into the business.
3. When selling, stay away from words and testimonials for the products if possible. Remember that no matter how well versed or convincing you are, some buyers and potential partners can really be skeptical. So as much as possible, try to give out samples of the products and let them speak for themselves. Believe it or not, if the product or service is notable, many people will willingly open their pocketbooks.

at should be kept in mind to succeed in network marketing. Yes, they may seem pretty simple, but these are the very things that can help a MLM business in the long run be the income producing machine others only dream about.

I like especially tip #1-Never stop from building a network of like minded individual. The business lies in the network you create -a group of people who know, like and trust you.
